There is also excellent progression to universities. The
course will help you to develop the essential academic skills of critical
thinking, evaluation and analysis. All of which will prepare you for independent
study at university.

Career Opportunities & Further Study
Internal progression to Access Level 3 – Nursing, Nursing
in Work or Nursing and Health Science upon successful completion of all Level 2
units at Croydon College, progressing towards their career goals in friendly and
familiar surroundings.

Assessment
You will be assessed throughout this course using a variety
of assessment methods including:
- Assignments
- Role plays
- Case studies
- Presentations
- Leaflets
- Projects
- You will produce both individual and group
work.
Your English and maths will be formally (exam) assessed at
the end of the academic year.

Entry Requirements
You must be aged 19 and above. All applicants will be
required to take an English and Mathematics written assessment, regardless of
previous qualifications – the offer is based on the result of assessment. All
applicants will be interviewed to ensure that the course is the right choice
based on previous educational and work experience.
