Course Overview
This qualification is designed for adults who are interested in nursing or social work as aprofessional career, and is well establishedand a progression pathway to Access to HE Diploma at Level 3. You will study a range of topics including Digital Skills, English, maths,Biology, Psychology, Nursing Studies and Infection Control.

Career Opportunities & Further Study
Internal progression to Access Level 3 –Nursing, Nursing in Work or Nursing and Health Science upon successful completion
of all Level 2 units at Croydon College,progressing towards their career goals in friendly and familiar surroundings.

Assessment
You will be assessed throughout this course using a variety
of assessment methods including:
- Assignments
- Role plays
- Case studies
- Presentations
- Leaflets
- Projects
- You will produce both individual and group
work.
Your English and maths will be formally (exam) assessed at
the end of the academic year.

Entry Requirements
English and maths at GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D).Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered.
