Course Overview
On this programme you will learn all about the human body, like the way people reproduce to organ functionality and the way human cells grow and divide. You will also study the history of the NHS, so you understand its founding principles and the way it has been shaped over time. Importantly you will learning the roles and responsibilities of being a nurse.

Career Opportunities & Further Study
Learners primarily progress to Higher Education study in areas related to Nursing. These may include Adult Nursing, Child Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Learning Disability Nursing, Midwifery, Related Health Studies degrees.
In addition, internal progression to: Foundation Degree in Public Health and Social Care or BSc in Adult Nursing (delivered by Roehampton University) at Croydon University Centre.

Entry Requirements
English at GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) and maths at GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D). Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Evidence of a commitment to learn and the ability to study at this level shown at interview. You may be required to study GCSE maths at college if not gained already.
