All assessment is project based. You will be taught content
that you then take into an assessment project to show what you have learnt. You
will need to demonstrate the skills and techniques covered in sessions within
your assessments and you will have to keep either written, video or audio logs
to evidence you working. You will also have research projects covering the music
industry where you undertake personal research tasks to show your understanding
of a topic.
Each assessment is graded as pass, merit or distinction and
at the end of the year your final grade is calculated on what you achieved
across all of the projects.
