Course Overview
Courses for parents wanting to increase their numeracy skills in order to help their children with maths. It will cover topics that will give you the boost you need to support your child through their resits.
Course Highlights
This short course would aim to equip parents with basic numeracy skills they can use to support their children. The course would provide parents with fun activities they can use to explore learning together at home and help to make maths more accessible for their children.
Career Opportunities & Further Study
On completion, learners could enrol onto a Functional Skills course/GCSE.
Assessment
Internal assessment at the end of the course.
Entry Requirements
If you are 19 or older and do not have a GCSE at grade C/4 in maths, you can access free numeracy courses through Multiply. Students can progress to fast track functional skills courses after completing this course. Depending on the level, students can sit the exam by the end of this academic year.
