Types of crime from organised to corporate. Looking at for
example:
- Common assault
- Domestic abuse
- Vandalism
- Rape
- Perceived victimless crimes (e.g. white-collar crime,
vagrancy, prostitution, assisted suicide)
The representation of crime in the media from News media to
films and electronic gaming. Crime associated with social media.
- Social construction
- How laws change from culture to culture
- How laws change over time
- How laws are applied differently according to
circumstances in which actions occur
- Why laws are different according to place, time and
culture.
Theories:
- Marxism
- Labelling
- Functionalism
- Left and right realism.

young offenders. Civil Service where HR does recruitment for sensitive jobs.
