The Level 1 Introductory Certificate prepares students to improve their knowledge and study skills that will then enable them to undertake study at Level 2 in Business, Travel or IT. The course combines some practical activities as well as theory to give students an overview of a wide range of subjects allowing them to build on their study skills.
Studying business studies at Croydon College is unique; you will have the opportunity to undertake a range of units that will give you transferable skills to enable you to progress onto a Level 2 course. You will take part in team building activities and enrichment. We have good links with local industries that will enable you to participate in work experience as well as work related activities to help and support your chosen career path.

You will be assessed in a number of ways, both practical and theoretical. You will have to write reports, participate in discussions or group debates. You will learn how to organise yourself effectively. You will also be researching your progression and plan for the future.
