Specialist Facilities:
This programme is delivered by fully qualified and
professional staff. You will benefit from a professional working environment
which includes state of the art kitchens and the latest technology in cooking
equipment.
Our restaurant, Chefs, is open to the public, providing real
life work experience. Here you will prepare and serve lunch and dinner to paying
guests and also cater for special events. We also provide civic hospitality for
the Mayor of Croydon.
Trips and Activities:
You will have the opportunity to participate in trips
organised to top quality restaurants and hotels; the objective being for you to
experience first-hand the working environment and the benefits of employment
within this sector.
Our students also have the chance to enter many exciting
culinary competitions, including the Nestlé Professional Toque d’Or, Young
Seafood Chef of the Year, Wessex Salon Culinaire, and the British Turkey Student
Chef Awards!
