The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in
barbering is designed for learners who work in or wish to pursue a career in
barbering.
The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in
barbering provides the necessary skills and knowledge that prove occupational
competence as a junior barber.

Course Highlights
This qualification provides learners with a range of
introductory skills, as well as core knowledge, relevant to Barbering and
customer service, alongside generic employability skills which are needed both
in the Barbering sector.
To Achieve the City and Guilds level 2 Diploma in Barbering
learners must achieve a minimum of 53 credits overall 44 must be achieved from
the mandatory units which are as follows:

Cut Men’s hair using basic
techniques

Entry Requirements
Learners do not need any prior qualifications or a
specific level of attainment to take this qualification, although proficieny in
English and Maths needs to be demonstrated.
