Course Overview
This VRQ Level 2 Hairdressing course has been designed to
develop your practical skills in a broad range of women’s hairdressing
skills.
You will develop a sound knowledge and understanding of
theory to each unit and gain the employability skills needed to become a
successful hairdresser. You will also be expected to participate in relevant
work experience.

Entry Requirements
Three GCSEs at grades 3/D as a minimum OR a related Level 1
vocational qualification;
AND;
Including a GCSE at grade 3/D (or equivalent) as a minimum
in English OR English and Mathematics assessed at Entry 3 or above by College
assessment.
Mature applicants may be considered on relevant experience
without having the required entry requirements. However, an interview will
always be required.
A satisfactory reference may also be
requested.
