Course Overview
Our excellent resources and outstanding teachers make hair
and beauty at Croydon College the place to continue your journey within the hair
beauty industry. This course will develop and build upon
the techniques that you will have learnt on a Level 2 course, enabling you to
become an advanced, highly qualified and professional spa therapist. This
programme will consist of theory and practical sessions, developing your
advanced beauty skills in areas such as face and body electrical treatments,
body massage, hot stone therapy, flotation and various spa services.
You will gain qualities and skills that will give you the
best possible opportunity to progress and to secure a career in the hair and
beauty industry. Please note that due to the highly
professional nature of the hair and beauty industry, you will be required to
wear a uniform whilst you are in the salon, details of which will be given to
you at enrolment. We would also like for you to invest in your future career by
purchasing a kit consisting of all of the necessary salon equipment which will
aid your successful completion of this course. Good
English and Maths skills are essential for success in studying and for future
employment prospects and so Croydon College ensures that these skills are
developed in all learning opportunities.

experience via a work placement one day per week. This experience will enable
you to appreciate the industry and gain invaluable knowledge. A key distinguishing feature of the college is our links with
