Although there are no formal entry requirements for the
distance learning Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health course, due
to the nature and course delivery, all applicants will be required to take an
English and Mathematics assessment, regardless of previous qualifications. You
must achieve a Level 2 in English and at least Level 1 Mathematics to be
accepted on this course.
To be eligible for funding:
You must be aged 19 years or over.
You must not already hold a full Level 3 qualification (e.g.
four AS Levels or two A Levels etc).
Learner must not be completing any other funded courses such
as an Apprenticeship or any other Distance Learning course.
If you do NOT meet the criteria
for funding and wish to complete this course you can apply for an Advance
Learner Loan via Student Finance England.
