Useful Information
This April we are offering spaces on some of our ESOL courses. Once you have applied, we will invite you to an appointment where we will assess your level. Join our full-time ESOL courses designed to enhance your communication skills for success in the UK. Classes are held three days a week, led by experienced English teachers who will support your skill development and prepare you for assessments and further learning. Alongside engaging classes, the program offers chances to participate in College events and attend useful employability and cultural activities

Course Overview
The ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course is designed for students aged 19+ who have recently arrived in the UK. This intensive course focuses on developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English. In addition to ESOL. Our supportive ESOL specialist organizes various enrichment activities to help students reach their full potential. When you enroll, you can expect highly experienced, qualified, specialist teachers, a welcoming learning environment, regular 1:1 meetings with your course tutor, excellent progression opportunities to our wide range of vocational courses, high ESOL achievement rates.

Career Opportunities & Further Study
After completing Entry Level 3 of our ESOL courses, you will be prepared to advance into employment or enroll in any of the College's Level 1 courses. Many students who complete Level 1 courses choose to pursue higher-level courses while continuing their English studies with us at Level 2.

Assessment
You will be evaluated weekly with progress tracked on a personal plan. When you are ready and able, you can take practical exams that lead to qualifications in Speaking & Listening, Reading, or Writing.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. We will assess your abilities before you start and place you in the course that best fits your existing skills. During the interview, you must demonstrate your commitment to full-time studies and your enthusiasm to develop all of your work skills, not just your English. To join this course you would need to be 19 or above, by 31st August 2025.
