Course Overview
An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences. An apprenticeship includes: paid employment with holiday leave hands-on-experience in a sector/role of interest, at least 20% off-the-job training and formal assessment which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

You will be assessed on your practical skills in the workplace, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance, as well as your understanding of key workplace competencies and knowledge. You will be assessed on your theoretical skills through an End Point Assessment, which can include a knowledge test , discussion or project depending on the apprenticeship standard requirements.

Entry Requirements
This can be dependent on apprenticeship standard and additional factors such as industry experience and previous qualifications. Ideally it is recommended that applicants have a minimum GCSE C/4 or equivalent in Math and English. For apprenticeship Job Vacancies, entry requirements are set by the employer.
