Assessment
This course is made up of nine units, students will have seven mandatory units and one unit is optional from a choice of two. Students will be assessed via a final project where they are able to demonstrates all learning that has taken place. This unit is graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction.
Internal Assessments: Evaluated by the tutor, including assignments, tasks, projects, and presentations.
Grading Criteria: Based on learning outcomes that cover technical skills, creativity, communication, and professional conduct.
Students receive regular feedback from their tutors, helping them identify areas for improvement. At the course's conclusion, grades are awarded based on performance across various assessments, reflecting students' proficiency in digital media.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be aged 16-18 prior to the course start date.3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered.A portfolio or examples of past work. You will also need a good level of computer skills and familiarity with the basic
software. In addition to this, basic knowledge and understanding of technical stills are required (this will include operating and using cameras and technology).
