Course Overview
This occupation is about supporting internal and external customers in the administration of their financial and accounting activities. You may work as an assistant accountant in a practice or within the finance department of an organisation. The role includes: data entry, account management, completion of VAT returns, submitting end of year financial report and assisting with tax computations. Accountants interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely to accounts services. The program of study will cover data handling, compilation of accounting and financial records, digital systems and customer service.

You will be assessed on your practical skills in the workplace, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance, as well as your understanding of key workplace competencies and knowledge.You will be assessed on your theoretical skills through an End Point Assessment, which includes a knowledge test and presentation.
