Course Overview
This occupation is about maintenance of properties across housing, healthcare, social care, hospitality, education, leisure, retail and private and public sectors. You will conduct the general day-to-day maintenance of properties, ensuring they are in a good state of repair and responsive repair works. Operatives use a wide variety of hand and power tools, materials, components, fixtures and fittings, ensuring work complies with health and safety requirements. You will gain understanding of the key principles of buildings and their construction, the range of building services that support a buildings operation and processes to prevent damage.
