Course Overview
Carpentry and Joinery involves working with wood-based materials and other products to create and install building components. This includes shaping and cutting materials, installing materials such as doors, staircases or timber flooring and erecting structural components such as roofs. In this role, you will interact with other construction roles such as bricklayers, plasterers, plumbers, supervisors, architects, contractors and customers.

Assessment
You will be assessed on your practical skills in the workplace, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance, as well as your understanding of key workplace competencies and knowledge.You will be assessed on your theoretical skills through an End Point Assessment, which includes a knowledge test and presentation.
