A building services engineering installer ensures buildings work. It is a specialist branch of engineering within the construction sector. The role involves installing components of large-scale industrial and commerical systems such as heating, chilled water, hot water and cold water. Topics covered inlcude working safely, working sustainably and installing components.

You will be assessed on your practical skills in the workplace, ensuring they meet industry standards for performance, as well as your understanding of key workplace competencies and knowledge.You will be assessed on your theoretical skills through an End Point Assessment, which includes a knowledge test and installer skills test.
