Mode of Study: Full time Level: 3 Duration: 2 Years We offer a single and double options as part of our mix and match curriculum.

Course Overview
This course is designed to develop both knowledge and practical skills in the Sport and Exercise Science industry. You will explore topics such as the Anatomy and Physiology of Sport, Sports Leadership and Coaching for Performance. Learning is largely theory based, linking the subject areas to current and relevant practical sporting settings. You will acquire knowledge via staff, individual and group research, visiting speakers, assessing elite performers and personal experience. If taken as a standalone course, it will typically take one to two years to complete, depending on if you choose Award, Certificate or Diploma.

Course Highlights

You will take part in practical sporting activities ranging from football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, running, volleyball, and rounders.

You will be assessed through continuous coursework-based assessment. Assessment methods include:

Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs grade 9-4 and a satisfactory school reference.Including English Language at grade 4 and maths at grade 4 as a minimum. Practical sporting ability is required.
