Course Overview
This qualification is tailored for adults pursuing a professional career in nursing or social work. The Access Level 2 course is delivered over two or three days and serves as a well-established progression pathway to the Access to HE Diploma at Level 3. Students will study the following subjects: - Digital Skills at Level 1 - GCSE English - Functional Skills Maths at Level 1 - Biology - Psychology - Nursing Studies - Infection Control - Preparation for Progression Units Students must demonstrate a strong commitment to hard work and are required to maintain full attendance (100%) throughout the course.

Career Opportunities & Further Study
Internal progression to Access Level 3—Nursing, Nursing in Work, or Nursing and Health Science—is available upon successful completion of all Level 2 units at Croydon College. This allows you to advance toward your career goals in a supportive and familiar environment.

Assessment
Throughout this course, you will be assessed using a variety of methods, including: - Assignments - Role Plays - Case Studies - Presentations - Leaflets - Projects You will engage in both individual and group work. Additionally, your English and Maths skills will be formally assessed through exams at the end of the academic year.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be aged 19 or older. All candidates are required to complete a written assessment in English and Mathematics, regardless of their previous qualifications; offers will be based on the assessment results. Additionally, all applicants will undergo an interview to ensure the course aligns with their previous educational and work experience.
