Course Overview
This team leader training enables learners to: - Develop Knowledge of Key Principles of Team Leadership Techniques and Business Practices, - Gain an Understanding of Performance and Conflict Management , - Strengthen Communication Skills, - Increase Knowledge of Legislation Relevant to a Leadership Role. Upon completion of your team leader training, you may wish to pursue further studies, such as our Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity or the Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management.

Course Highlights
This Course Includes the Following Units: - Unit 1: Principles of Team Leading In this unit, learners will explore different leadership styles, team dynamics, and techniques for managing a team’s workload. The unit also addresses the impact of change management and the significance of a motivated team on organizational success. - Unit 2: Understand Business This unit enhances learners' understanding of organizational structures and the business environment. Participants will develop knowledge of business planning principles, finance, reporting, management responsibilities, and accountabilities within an organization. - Unit 3: Understand How to Communicate Work-Related Information In this unit, learners will delve into the principles and techniques of verbal and written communication in the workplace. They will gain knowledge about various documents needed for different types of meetings in a business context. - Unit 4: Understand How to Manage Performance and Conflict in the Workplace This unit develops learners' understanding of team performance management through benchmarking, addressing how to manage underperformance and resolve conflicts in the workplace. - Unit 5: Principles of Equality and Diversity in the Workplace In this unit, learners will examine the standards of equality and diversity in the workplace, including the potential consequences of failing to comply with relevant legislation. - Unit 6: Understand How to Develop Working Relationships with Colleagues This unit focuses on the principles of effective teamwork, including the 'buddy' system for colleagues. Learners will learn about the benefits of teamwork, how to provide constructive feedback, and techniques for resolving team conflicts. - Unit 7: Understand Health and Safety Procedures in the Workplace This unit provides learners with essential information regarding the primary health and safety responsibilities and laws affecting the workplace, including the roles of both employers and employees in maintaining safety standards. - Unit 8: Understand How to Develop and Deliver a Presentation This unit enhances learners' knowledge of the principles involved in developing and delivering presentations. Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this course; however, learners should possess at least a Level 1 qualification in literacy or an equivalent credential. Our Level 1 and 2 distance learning courses are available free of charge for those eligible for government funding, provided you meet the following criteria: - Age Requirement: Must be 19 years or older. - Age 19-23: You must hold a full Level 2 qualification or higher, such as five GCSEs or O Levels at grades A-C (or 9-4), two or three AS Levels, one A Level, NVQ Level 2, First Certificate, or Principles of Learning Level 2. - Age 24 and Over: No qualifications are required. - Enrolment Status: You must not be enrolled in any other distance learning course with us, - Residency Requirement: You must have been living in the UK for the last three years.
