Career Opportunities & Further Study
This qualification shows that students can apply concepts
and interpret practical situations. The Award is
equivalent to one GCSE. Students wishing to progress to a Level 3 BTEC
qualification would need to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or the
equivalent BTEC Level 2 qualifications (at Merit or
above).

The emphasis of the programme is that students are
assessed by engaging in practical groupwork and individual
tasks.

Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs grade 9-3 and a satisfactory school reference. Including English Language at grade 3 and maths at grade 3
as a minimum. Equivalent qualifications will be considered.
