Entry Requirements
Age: Applicants must be aged 19 or above.
Academic qualifications: English at GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) and maths at GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C). Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Learners without the maths qualification will have the opportunity to sit an assessment and would need to achieve a level 2.
Application Process:
Selection is based on an interview, initial screening, and literacy and numeracy tests.
Note: Universities often require GCSEs or Functional Skills (Level 2) for entry. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that their qualifications meet the university's requirements.
Financial Information
Financial Support:
Eligibility for Learner Support Funds or the 19+ Advanced Learning Loan bursary will be assessed. Check with Student Finance England to determine eligibility for an Advanced Learner Loan.
Loan Repayment:
If you progress to and complete a Higher Education course, Student Finance England will "write off" any outstanding loan balance for Access to HE course, meaning you will not have to repay it.
