The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a nationally recognized qualification designed for students lack traditional Level 3 qualifications but wish to apply for degree courses and enter university. If you're interested in pursuing a career in Nursing, the Access to HE Diploma in Health and Human Sciences may be the ideal pathway for you. Entry Requirements
To enroll, candidates must be aged 19 or above and demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English through:
GCSEs: Grades A*–C / 9–4
Functional Skills Level 2
Recognized non-UK GCSE equivalencies in English and Mathematics are preferred

Please note that universities increasingly require GCSEs or Skills (Level 2) as part of their entry criteria. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that their current and future qualifications meet the entry requirements of any universities they wish to apply to.
Financial Eligibility:
Students must provide evidence of meeting the criteria for general discretionary Learner Support Funds or the 19+ Advanced Learning Loan bursary fund. Check your eligibility for an Advanced Learner Loan by contacting Student Finance England.
Repayment of Your Loan:
Student Finance England will write off any Advanced Learner Loan balances owed for an Access to HE course upon successful completion of a higher education course. This means you will not have to repay it.
