Entry Requirements
Age Requirement: Applicants must be 19 years or older. Academic qualifications: English at GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) and maths at GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D). Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered.You may be required to study GCSE maths at college if not gained already. Application Process: Each application will be assessed individually, with selection based on- An interview Initial screening Literacy and Numeracy tests You will be invited to a "Meet the Tutor" event, where you can receive comprehensive information, advice, and guidance about the course, along with the opportunity to ask any questions. Note: Universities increasingly require GCSEs or Functional Skills (Level 2) as part of their entry criteria. Financial Information Financial Eligibility: Applicants must provide evidence that they meet the criteria for general discretionary Learner Support Funds or the 19+ Advanced Learning Loan bursary fund. To check if you are eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan, please contact Student Finance England. Loan Repayment: Student Finance England will write off any outstanding balances on the Advanced Learner Loan for an Access to HE course once you complete a higher education course.
