Term 2: Step into the skies with Cabin Crew training, dive into the high-speed world of Business Travel and making travel more productive with AI technology, and gain valuable hands-on experience through a dedicated Work Experience placement (Year 2).

Career Opportunities & Further Study
This course features a strong focus on industry engagement, with access to a wide range of trips and guest speakers. Highlights include visits to the World Travel Market, Gatwick Airport, and key London attractions such as the Tower of London, BFI IMAX and Wimbledon Lawn and Tennis!
You'll benefit from CV and career development workshops, UCAS support, mock interviews, and the chance to gain valuable work experience in the field. Upon completion, you can progress to higher education in areas such as Events Management, Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or International Tourism Management. Career options include Travel Consultant, Event Planner, Cruise Director, Tour Operator, Travel Influencer—or specialist roles in airport and airline operations. With the aviation industry a key focus, there is also opportunity for aviation and engineering in tourism.

Assessment
Assessment is a mix of internal coursework—such as essays, presentations, and practical assignments—and external exams. Students are expected to complete a one-day-per-week work placement in a relevant travel-based industry. Our experienced teaching team supports you every step of the way with regular progress reviews, homework, and challenging tasks.

Entry Requirements
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C), or a related Level 2 vocational qualification at merit or above, including English and maths. Equivalent qualifications will also be considered
