Course Overview
The Level 1 Introductory Certificate prepares students to improve their knowledge and study skills that will then enable them to undertake study at Level 2 in a subject area of their choice. The course combines some practical activities as well as theory to give students an overview of a wide range of subjects allowing them to build on their study skills and gain important knowledge that will help them be successful in their chosen study or careers.

Assessment

You will be assessed in a number of ways, both practical and theoretical.

You will have to write reports, participate in discussions or group debates. You will learn how to organise yourself effectively. You will also be researching your progression and plan for the future.



Entry Requirements
GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) in English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Evidence of a commitment to learn and the ability to study at this level shown at interview.
