Course Overview
This course has been designed to develop your practical skills in a broad range of women’s hairdressing skills and gain the employability skills needed to become a successful hairdresser. You will also be expected to participate in relevant work experience. You will cover a range of topics including Health and safety, Client consultation, Shampoo and conditioning for hair and scalp, Promote products and services to clients, Cut women’s hair, Colour and lighten hair, Perm and neutralise hair, Salon reception duties.

Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Mature applicants may be considered on relevant experience without having the required entry requirements. However, an interview and a maths and English assessment will always be required.
