Course Overview
The course is broad and covers many of the specialist areas of the Art & Design Industry and gives you real life experience in the local art community through work experience. Over the duration of the program, students are encouraged to develop a broad understanding of the subjects while honing their practical skills and creative abilities.Students learn to experiment with materials and ideas, while also developing an understanding of the creative process from initial concept to final presentation.

Assessment
The work on the course is project/assignment based and assessment is continuous throughout the course.Planned reviews and tutorials are also completed to support student development and achievement on the course. Students will get feedback at the end of each stage of the course to enable them to improve on their learning and performance.

Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these
qualifications will be considered. Plus, an art portfolio containing recent creative work you have done.
