Course Overview

Assessment
Assessment methods this course include:
Work Experience: Practical experience in an early years setting for a minimum of two days per week.

Entry Requirements
To enrol in the Level 3 Certificate in Childcare Education, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:4 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) or a related Level 2 vocational qualification (at merit or higher),
including English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered.
DBS Check: Completion of a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, which the College will cover for students aged 16-18.
Mature Applicants: Consideration may be given to mature applicants based on relevant experience, but an interview will be required.
References: A satisfactory reference may also be requested.
