Course Overview
This course will expand your knowledge and skills in order to work in the electrical installation industry. You will learn the
intermediate skills of electrotechnical technology through the combination of theory lessons and practical work in our
modern, well-equipped workshops. The course will also develop your confidence to conduct repairs and carry out fault finding on electrical circuitry. You will study a range of subjects, including: testing dead circuits, safe isolation procedures, comprehensive metalworking skills, and conduit and trunking.

Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these
qualifications will be considered. Mature applicants may be considered on relevant experience without having the required
entry requirements. However, a maths and English may be required.
