Course OverviewThe Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) reports that unemployment rates were approximately 6% higher for ethnic minorities than white people in 2018. This is just one example of the inequalities that still exist throughout the UK. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that we educate ourselves about supporting and promoting equality and British Values.
This course will equip learners with a detailed understanding of what equality and diversity means and how to promote them, as well as exploring the four British Values and positive equality movements.

Career Opportunities & Further Study
This course is ideal for learners who wish to increase their awareness and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, including key legislation relating to this, such as the Equality Act 2010 and the Equal Pay Act 1970. Learners will also study positive equality events and movements, including gay pride, as well as learning about British Values and how they apply to people living in the UK.
